The energy sector has generally not embraced LGBT diversity and inclusion as visibly and convincingly as the financial and fmcg sectors, but around 2015 there were signs that this was beginning to change.
Energy is a massive but low-interest sector. Who cares who brings electricity to your home? Do you really make a conscious choice for a petrol brand? Do you even know where your gas comes from?
Yet, many people are employed in these industries, and almost the entire world population is a customer of one or another supplier. So, apart from general marketing - like loyalty programs - there is Marketing the Rainbow, if only for their employees.
